Induction - ILM Level 5 Programmes in Effective Coaching and Mentoring (blended) - LSBU

Welcome to the ILM Level 5 programmes in Effective Coaching and Mentoring. 

These programmes are delivered by the Academy of Leadership & Management and are accredited by ILM. 

This induction will provide you with an overview of the programme and qualifications and an understanding of what to expect during your course of study.

Theme One - Principles and practices of effective coaching and mentoring (blended) - LSBU

Welcome to Theme One of the ILM Level 5 programmes in Effective Coaching and Mentoring. 

This theme will provide you with an understanding of the role of a coach or mentor within an organisation. It will challenge you to plan for how you will ensure best practice in your own role as a coach or mentor and get you started on the process of contracting with your own client(s).

Theme Two - Undertaking effective coaching and mentoring (blended) - LSBU

Welcome to Theme Two of the ILM Level 5 qualifications in Effective Coaching and Mentoring. 

This theme will provide you with an understanding of the skills of a coach or mentor within an organisation. It will challenge you to translate your knowledge and understanding into best practice in your own role as a coach or mentor. You will also undertake at least 18 hours of coaching or mentoring with your own client(s).

Theme Three - Reviewing your practice as a coach or mentor (blended) - LSBU

Welcome to Theme Three of the ILM Level 5 qualifications in Effective Coaching and Mentoring. 

This theme will provide you with an understanding of the benefits of coaching and mentoring for individuals and for the organisation they work in. It will challenge you to reflect critically on your own practice as a coach or mentor taking into account the feedback you have gained through the 18 hours of coaching or mentoring with your own client(s). You will also form a personal development plan.
