ILM Level 7 Leadership & Management - Unit 1 - Developing Leadership & Management Capability Through Enquiry

This unit is entitled ‘Developing leadership and management capability through enquiry’. Successful completion will enable you to develop the cognitive and behavioural skills necessary to undertake robust data-driven enquiry in complex environments in order to demonstrate impact upon leadership and management in a given context.

By the end of this unit, you will be able to:

  • justify an enquiry-based approach as a means of developing leadership and management capability
  • design and undertake an enquiry-based approach to learning and development
  • evaluate and deliver the outcome of enquiry-based learning

ILM Level 7 Leadership & Management - Unit 2 - Developing a High-Level Business Case

This unit is entitled ‘Developing a high-level business case’. Successful completion will enable you to develop a high-level business case for improvement that demonstrates impact that is aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives and other planned improvements.

By the end of this unit, you will be able to:

  • understand the strategic context for change to identify the requirement for a high-level business case

  • generate and evaluate viable options and apply decision-making techniques

  • understand how to select and justify the strategies required to manage the high-level business case through to the desired business outcomes

ILM Level 7 Leadership & Management - Unit 3 - Developing a High-Performance Culture

This unit is entitled ‘Developing and Maintaining a High-Performance Culture and Optimising Resources’. Successful completion will enable you to develop the capabilities for the management of resources to optimise performance and the maintenance and continued development of a high performance culture.

By the end of this unit, you will be able to:

  • understand how to assess and benchmark performance
  • understand how to develop and maintain a culture of high levels of performance
  • understand the leadership and management skills required for future-readiness

ILM Level 7 Leadership & Management - Tutorial Record

This Tutorial Record is used in conjunction with your executive coaching tutorials. Your coach will use it to record the agreed actions at the end of each tutorial. The document will be updated after each session and a copy will be sent to you. A copy will also be kept on your file.
