ILM Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring Programmes

Welcome to the ILM Level 5 qualifications in Coaching and Mentoring.

These programmes are delivered by the Academy of Leadership & Management in partnership with Time & Tide Learning & Development Consultancy and are accredited by The Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM).

This induction will provide you with an overview of the qualification, the learning approach and what to expect on this programme of study. You can download key documents and templates and get yourself organised for the schedule of work.

Welcome to Theme One of the ILM Level 5 qualifications in Coaching and Mentoring.

This theme will provide you with an understanding of the role of a coach or mentor within an organisation.  It will challenge you to plan for how you will ensure best practice in your own role as a coach or mentor and get you started on the process of contracting with your own client(s).

Welcome to Theme Two of the ILM Level 5 qualifications in Coaching and Mentoring. 

This theme will provide you with an understanding of the skills of a coach or mentor within an organisation. It will challenge you to translate your knowledge and understanding into best practice in your own role as a coach or mentor. You will also undertake at least 12 hours of coaching or mentoring with your own client(s).

Welcome to Theme Three of the ILM Level 5 qualifications in Coaching and Mentoring. 

This theme will provide you with an understanding of the benefits of coaching and mentoring for individuals and for the organisation they work in.  It will challenge you to reflect critically on your own practice as a coach or mentor taking into account the feedback you have gained through the 12 hours of coaching or mentoring with your own client(s). You will also form a development plan.

This discussion forum is open to all students on the ILM Coaching and Mentoring programmes. You can use it to share experiences and best practice; compare issues and ask questions. It is a private forum - only students and the programme team have access to it, so please respect each other's confidentiality.
